RIDE ID Terms of Service

RIDE ID provides digital ride profiles, QR code services, and community-driven features that allow users to showcase their rides and engage with the ride community. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “RIDE ID Platform” or “Services”).
These Terms constitute an agreement between you and RIDE ID, Inc. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
We may offer both free and premium services. Some features and services may have additional or separate terms.

1. The Services We Provide

1.1 Create and Manage Your Digital Ride Profile

You can use RIDE ID to create a personalized profile for your ride, upload photos, add specifications and stories, link to your social media accounts and personal websites, and generate QR codes that link directly to your ride’s profile.

1.2 Discover and Interact with Other Ride Profiles

RIDE ID enables users to browse other public ride profiles and explore other users’ shared stories and content related to their rides.

1.3 Personalize Your Experience

We use information like your interactions on the platform and your selected preferences to tailor your experience.

1.4 Promote Safety and Security

We work to maintain a secure and respectful environment by monitoring activity and taking action against misuse or harmful conduct.

1.5 Innovation and Research

We continuously improve RIDE ID through research, user feedback, and testing new features.

1.6 Cross-Platform Consistency

Your profile and activity may be visible across other RIDE ID channels, such as mobile and web versions, to ensure a seamless experience.

2. How Our Services Are Funded

RIDE ID is funded through paid premium memberships. These memberships support the ongoing development and maintenance of the platform and grant users access to enhanced features such as additional media uploads, customization options, and early access to new tools and services.

3. Your Commitments to RIDE ID

3.1 Who Can Use RIDE ID

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian.
  • You agree to provide accurate information.
  • You will maintain only one personal account.
  • You will not share or sell your account.

3.2 What You Can Share

  • You may share photos, descriptions, and specifications of your ride(s).
  • You may share links to your social media accounts and personal or business websites.
  • You will not share content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • You agree not to upload malicious code or engage in disruptive activities.

3.3 Permissions You Give Us

  • You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and share it as part of our Services.
  • You grant us permission to use your name, profile picture, and related information in connection with RIDE ID’s features and promotional materials.
  • You allow us to update the software and services you use.

3.4 Linked Content and External Platforms

  • Users may link to third-party websites, social media platforms, or other online services
    as part of their ride profile.
  • You are solely responsible for any external links you share. RIDE ID does not control,
    endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content, products, or services
  • You agree not to link to any website or platform that promotes unlawful, offensive, or
    misleading material.
  • RIDE ID is not liable for any damage or loss resulting from your use of third-party
    websites or platforms linked from our Services.
  • Users accessing external links are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those
    third-party platforms.

4. Additional Provisions

4.1 Updating Our Terms

We may update these Terms as needed. We will notify you of significant changes, and continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.

4.2 Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or applicable laws. We may also remove content that violates these Terms.

4.3 Limits on Liability

RIDE ID provides the Services “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, RIDE ID will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

4.4 Disputes

All disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Massachusetts. The laws of Massachusetts will govern these Terms.

4.5 Miscellaneous

  • Supplemental terms may apply to specific services.
  • These Terms do not create third-party beneficiary rights.
  • Feedback you provide may be used without obligation.

4.6 Physical Liability for Stickers

  • RIDE ID provides Smart QR stickers made with high-quality 6mil vinyl and standard adhesive backing. While these stickers are designed for safe application on most vehicle surfaces, RIDE ID, Inc. is not liable for any physical damage — including but not limited to paint removal, discoloration, or adhesive residue — resulting from the application, use, or removal of stickers.
  • We recommend applying the stickers only to clean, smooth surfaces and using a small amount of heat (such as a hair dryer) during removal to minimize potential risk to finishes
By using RIDE ID, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
